Suzanne M.D. Huerth

Suzanne Mechelle Drake Huerth, 57, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on December 29th at her home in Lakeville, MA. Suzanne was born and raised in Sharon, MA. where she attended and graduated Sharon High School. She furthered her education at MassBay where she studied and graduated with a degree in early childhood education, a true passion of hers.

Suzanne met her future husband and lifelong best friend, Kevin, at the young age of four. Friends throughout their younger years, they officially began dating while in high school and eventually married on June 23, 1990. Shortly after, they moved to Lakeville, MA which they lovingly called home for the last 35 years and also where they started their beautiful family.

Suzanne loved and took pride in many things. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband and friends. She cherished rides in her Jeep with the top off, sun shining and Toby Keith on the radio. After moving to their house on Long Pond, she enjoyed having her coffee on the deck with her dogs, overlooking the water, and decorating the house and deck in all shades of purple flowers - her favorite color.

Above all else, her most prized possession was her family. Suzanne was a thoughtful and caring woman who always put others’ needs before her own, especially when it came to her children. A fearless leader and compassionate companion, Suzanne idolized her children, and there was nothing that she wouldn’t do for them. There was no greater gift in life than spending time with her husband, children and eventually their own families. A full house was a happy house, and she never wanted those days together to end.

Suzanne loved being a mother, and she was thrilled when she was finally able to become a Nana/Nina. Her grandbabies were her pride and joy the past four years and meant the world to her. Never missing a chance to be with them, she loved them all so deeply and they loved her just as much in return. She would often send a silly picture or video - always something to make sure they knew she was thinking of them.

Suzanne is survived by her husband Kevin Huerth, who adored her and the life that they built together. She is also survived by her son, Carl Robert Huerth, and his wife, Sarah, of Lakeville; daughter Courtney Huerth of Plymouth; daughter Candice Silveria and her husband, Tyler, of Lakeville; son Nicholas Jablonski and his wife, Larissa, of Berkley; and son Kingston Devlin of Gun Barrel City, TX.

Suzanne is also survived by her 6 grandbabies: Theo Huerth, Lydia Silveria, Charlette Huerth, Lola Silveria, Jace Jablonski, and Collins Huerth. Her memory and love will live on forever in their hearts.

She is survived by her parents Donald and Marjorie Drake of Sharon, and her father- and mother-in-law Carl and Carol Huerth of Lakeville; her sisters and brother and their families: Judy Pavadore, Carla Drake-Underkoffler, and Robert Drake; as well as her sisters-in-law, Karen Whitty and Christine Venuto, and their families.

She will be remembered as the wholehearted and selfless wife, mother, nana/nina, sister, daughter, and friend that she was to so many.

Her husband, Kevin, sends her off in peace and love and will keep with him the countless memories they shared together.

Visitation for close family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home in Lakeville, MA, from 4:00pm - 7:00pm.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
