Carolyn Medeiros Obituary

Carolyn F. Medeiros, aged 76, passed away on December 29, 2025, at Lifecare of Raynham after a period of failing health. Carolyn lived her entire life in Raynham. She had previously worked at Pride, Inc in Taunton until her health declined, forcing early retirement and necessitating her becoming a resident of Lifecare. She formed many friendships with the other residents and staff, where she was known as “the lady who crochets”. Carolyn was always one to speak up for others if she felt they were being treated unjustly and cared deeply about her friends and family. She enjoyed reading, needlepoint, crocheting as well as crafting and games with her friends and the staff at Lifecare. Carolyn was predeceased by her parents, Antone and Lily Medeiros and her sister, Marie D. Pierce. She leaves behind her niece, Tina Zantrofski and husband David, her nephew Richard Pierce, Jr and wife Sally, and brother-in-law, Richard Pierce, Sr., as well as great nephews, Tim and Erin Zantrofski, Tyler and Pawinee Zantrofski and great great nephews Kai and Aiden Zantrofski as well as many cousins and many, many friends at Lifecare of Raynham. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11:00AM, at the Assonet Burial Grounds for anyone who wishes to attend. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Activities Department at Lifecare of Raynham, 546 South Street East, Raynham, MA or do a kind deed in her memory.
